Since Milsim Market is new to the airsoft buy/sell scene, we naturally have users asking questions to learn more about how everything works. We've taken the most common questions asked to us and have compiled them into this list. As more questions are asked that seem common we'll add and update this list accordingly.

How do I sign up?
To sign up, just click Register in the top left corner of the homepage.
Can I create an account using Facebook?
Yes, you can login via your Facebook account. Note that doing so means you still have to go through the Seller authentication process before you can post an item for sale.
Why do I have to provide my ID when creating an account?
Since the sale of airsoft to minors is prohibited in Canada, Milsim Market manually verifies each Buyer and Seller account. This process is a bit longer, but provides a safe and secure community dedicated to all things Milsim.
How do you verify buyers and sellers ages?
We verify your age by keeping a copy of your Government Issued ID on file and manually check to ensure users are over 18. Once confirmed the account is verified and upgraded to full Seller status.
Do I have to pay to bid on items?
NO! Bidding on items comes at ZERO cost.
If I want to sell an item is it free?
Milsim Market takes a 3% fee from each sale on the website. A verified seller is able to post their items free of charge.
If a seller wishes to make the full amount of the sale, they can upgrade to a Premium account for a monthly fee, and that removes the per-item fee placed on regular Sellers.
I just won an auction, how do I pay the seller for the item?
Once you win an auction you're able to checkout the winning item and will then give you a chance to process a payment to send to the seller.
What payment methods are available?
Currently, only PayPal is available. We are in the process of adding in more ways to pay. (Google Wallet, Bitcoins, Amazon Wallet, etc...)
Can we request other payment methods?
Yes! Please head over to the forums area and let us know what other merchants you'd like to see.
What are Milsim Tokens? What are they for?
As a reward for using the website and contributing to the community, users can earn rewards (Milsim Tokens) which they can use for features, perks and tricks around the website.
What are account badges? How do I get more account badges?
Account badges are manually given out to accounts that reach certain milestones or fulfill unique achievement requirements.
